Bevæg dig for livet – swimming
In collaboration with ”Bevæg dig for livet” a series of trophies and plaques has been developed. They are given out to winners of various competitions, enthusiasts and others who should be celebrated in the Danish swimming environment.
The trophies and plaques have been designed based on the desire to have a different type of trophy, which should exude sustainability, should be able to fit on a bookshelf and blend in well with a traditional decor. A minimalistic wave pattern has been made on the trophies, so that a connection is clearly created to the sender: ”Bevæg dig for livet - swimming".

THE SUSTAINABLE LINE - MATERIAL DESCRIPTION
the trophies are made from materials from old disposable pallets. The following section will provide a brief overview of the materials and where they come from.
Pallet blocks
The blocks come from disposable pallets and are placed between the boards of the pallets. The blocks have signs of use, which come from their previous life as pallets. The blocks have nail remnants in them and these nails are clearly visible in the wood, but are sanded smooth and shiny. The blocks have also taken quite a beating throughout their lives and will therefore have small dents and other blemishes. The nails and imperfections help to tell the history of the material and rather than hide and remove this history, it has instead become part of the trophy's design.
Pallet boards
The boards used for the feet of the trophies come from disposable pallets and have been cut to size. The boards have small signs of use, but are intact and without holes.
