Alt er en dinosaurus

Teater Jævn's staging of "everything is a dinosaur" is a tribute to children's wild imagination and creativity. During the show, the imagination is given free rein and the children are allowed to transform the world they are standing in the middle of into something no one has ever seen before!

Here, Zweck in collaboration with TrÆls has designed and produced the scenography, in a very special way; namely with the theater's own remains and waste from previous plays.

“A hundred million years ago, a dinosaur stood in Italy and sweated. Come on, it's hot here, it thought. Then it went north because it was cool. When it came to a jetty that looked like a goblin, it lay down and thought: It's nice here. And then it died. Now, a hundred million years later, we are standing here at your local forest in Hedensted Municipality, and if you take a deep breath right here, you can smell that this was the dinosaur's butt."

New Scenery made from old scenery and trash!

DINO FIND

When the children have found a dino leftover, it is important that they can show exactly where they have found it. Therefore, a lot of small dino-shaped signs have been produced, which can easily be put in the ground and show exactly where the find has been found.

WAYFINDER

It is important to be able to find your way. Therefore, a number of arrows with logos have been made. The important thing about these wayfinders is that they are easy to use and that they can be used in many places, as the play often changes venues.

CORONA SIGNAGE

At this time, signs still had to be made for Corona when you were doing theater - even if it was outside. That is why signs have been made that can easily be hung up anywhere. The signs can be easily taken apart and used for other purposes later.

Excavation area

When you are outside, it is difficult to define an area. Fortunately, we found a lot of old stakes, which we have engraved with the text "excavation area" and engraved a small dinosaur on top.

Other scenography

Here follows the scenography, which was developed in and produced in collaboration with Træls. The scenography is made with sustainability in mind and incorporates the theater's old scenography materials. For this, oak shells and wood from disposable pallets as well as Plexiglas, which has previously been used in a local museum, have also been used.
